Trained in classical instruments and music through college, Victor Monarrez has done everything from improvisational jazz to popular cover rock to Latin folk music. This wide palette of skill makes Victor a versatile bass player in almost any genre. But he hadn’t really dug into blues until he met the RedHouse crew. It was then that Victor discovered that blues was something he’d always been looking for, that it filled a unique emotional niche for him. Today Victor is a key part of the RedHouse rhythm section, where his driving blues bass meshes wonderfully with Lenny, the drummer.
